No idea what that says, but they're closed for vacation/holiday until the 27th. Guessing that's what that says..
Yes, and really good
Don't think so, was not on the menu when i went and it doesn't seem like the type of place
Bring lots of euros because you'll want to try each pizza they make.
Decent pizza, well seasoned. Maybe a little oily for my taste. Unfortunately what seems like a decent establishment was overrun by annoying and rude American teenage girls while on study abroad, which I hate to judge a place by their patrons, but it was hard to ignore and enjoy our visit.
Amazing pizza right in the heart of Florence. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Good Pizza at a reasonable price, staff should learn how to poor beer though, 4 foot of head on a 330ml bottle!
Will be some of the absolute best pizza you ever taste. Small place, but so worth any wait you may have. Inexpensive, super value. Authentic pizza oven and they know how to use it! Don't forget to clear your own table after you finish!
If you are in Florence you must come here. No debate. This place is absolutely magical. I dream of the day I come back to Gusta. The perfect Neapolitan pizza. The line that forms after siesta is proof enough this place is the real deal. So get here 20 minutes early. If you do happen to be in the back of the line wrapped around the corner, wait.
This is a nice place to eat when you visit the surrounding tourist attractions.
Really good pizza with friendly staff. Good idea for self service encouraging customers to take care of their own rubbish similar to responsibilities. Very intuitive when it comes to ordering and highly recommend this restaurant for pizza lovers.
My family and I went this restaurant for lunch. We felt bad experience for the service from counter. First, we informed about the recommended pizza in the restaurant. However, the staff just asked us to see the menu on the board by ourself. After we finished our order, we told him that we had 4 people. The staff have bad attitude because of my parent already seat on the table. In fact, They were very tired, so they seat just for me to order. Also, the empty seat is still many for others to sit. We didn’t understand why the service is like that. Hope everything can be better. Thank you.
A little disappointed about cooking. It is not worthy of a restaurant... That's how we get cancer... 😩Otherwise, the pizza tastes good 👍🏻. Not many ingredients and choice and limited
A tiny place with limited outdoor seating but an oasis in over touristy Florence. Although visitors are down the big restaurants near the sites remain overpriced and not the best service. This is tucked a little out of the way but was great. The menu is small but everything was freshly made. The pizzas were perfectly cooked with no burning as often happens at the larger places. Tomatoes, rucola, salami and mozerella were fresh and very tasty. Portions are generous but still just possible to eat alone (bring an appetite).
Unreal pizza, amazing prices, lovely staff
Aittle hole in the wall, and very delicious pizza. The dough is the best part. We loved it, very filling and tastes amazing. They serve wine, soft drinks and water. They do have larger tables for groups. The lunch rush is out the door! No bathrooms. Come hungry!
Amazing pizza, amazing location, and friendly staff. The pizza is not only delicious but also very reasonably priced. The ambiance inside the restaurant is cosy and welcoming. If Guy Fieri is recommending a pizza place I’m going to it. But seriously, it was amazing pizza and an overall amazing experience.
The best pizza ever! Starting from the base of the pizza to its toppings and the ambience, all were perfect. Cost is also reasonable.
My husband I stop here every time we visit Florence! It is absolutely amazing. The best crust, sauce and toppings!!! Once coincidentally we were here on Valentine’s Day and they were surprising people with heart shaped crusts. It’s located near a college and is always packed with students and is lively and buzzing! The guys running it are super hands on and always smiling and serving the best pizzas ever!!
Delicious pizza. Not the best best I've ever had, but definitely up there. It's not as busy as other places in the city at lunch time, and it's on what I consider to be the nicer side of Florence (across the Arno). A full pizza for 5 euros is a steal. They have a few options that are classic and very good. The resturant has a great atmosphere as well. There's a bunch of tickets with people's names and origins on them tucked into the tables, as well as tips of currencies from all over.
Really good pizza from a stone oven. Staff is quick and friendly. Unfortunately they only use disposable plastic cutlery and cups and cardboard plates, even if you eat in, which i really don't understand in this context. Given how many people they serve, this produces just soo much waste!
The best pizza you’ll ever have! I first discovered this place 6 years ago in Florence and knew when I’d return it would be my first stop. To this day, it has remained a staple in the Florentine food scene and is still the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. No questions asked.Gusta Pizza has a couple tables inside (it’s small) and a few tables outside—but the best way to really eat this pizza is on the church steps down the street. It’s open to the public and great for people watching in the square. You can also have open containers, so bring a bottle of wine or beer to pair.
Been coming here for years. It’s so good. Always get the Calabrese and it’s always amazing.
Maybe the best pizza I ever had. I don't think the business needs it but I will show my appreciation nonetheless. Excellent!
Excellent option for price and quality! Pizzas are big and around 5-7 eur. Drinks also at a good price. Staff is super friendly. Place is nice but a bit small
Gusta is a great spot for a quick lunch or snack in the middle of a touristy area of Florence. Their pizzas are inexpensive and they make them pretty quickly. Pizzas are counter-serve, and they have some seating but definitely fill up fast during the normal meal times. Take a pizza to go and eat by the river!
Best pizza I have ever tried in the entire world. Amazing service and incredible pizza. Benissimo!!!
Really tasty authentic pizza of northern Italian style. Just a few blocks away from the touristy area, you’ll have one of the best pizza in your life. Staff are helpful and friendly.
Best Pizza I've ever had! They also sit you wherever there's room, and sometimes that's at a table where there are already people sitting. At first I was weirded out by this, but ended up loving it. We met some really cool people from all over the world during our time at Gustapizza. They also don't cut the pizza, which us Americans are used to, but I didn't mind. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Pizza was soggy and the dough was raw in a few areas. Asked them to put it back in the oven for a little longer but they were not accommodating. The flavours were amazing but it's defiantly NOT the best Pizza in the world!
The quality of the food is excellent, the service is quick and speedy. The seating is open, and it can be challenging to find optimal seating, but the pizza is worth it. There was one particular lady who works there that is exceptionally rude, but we went twice and the guys there were much better. Maybe she was having a bad day, the pizza is so so so good!
Amazing staff, speaks great English, who treat you like family! Really good pizza, really fast, and for a nice price! Highly recommend!
Really good pizza for not too much money. My mom and I ordered one pizza and split it between ourselves, mind you were not BIG eaters so someone could probably finish a whole pie by themselves if they wanted to. The space is small and YOU MAY HAVE TO SHARE A TABLE WITH OTHER PATRONS. There is nothing wrong with this and your table mates will most likely keep to themselves. Just don’t be too snobby and give the staff attitude when they seat you at an occupied table. Remember to ORDER FIRST then let the staff seat you. The restaurant is cash only.
A crowded and busy restaurant, it's well frequented by the expat university crowd. The pizzas are made to order, super quality and come fast. We had the Pomodoro and Napoli - delicious!
I love pizza. I have worked in pizza and was proudly raised on Chicago pizza. You could say that pizza made me the man I am today. Those who know me well will understand it is no small thing for me to say that this is the best pizza that I have ever eaten. Gusta Pizza is proof that a god exists and that he loves us.
Overall, this is pretty good pizza. However, I didn't think it was the best that I had while in Florence as it felt like more of a fast food type pizza than some of the others. While in Italy, I judged the quality of the pizza based on their margherita and Gustapizza's was pretty good but not great. Also note, this place gets crazy busy during the evenings, but they do a good job of pumping out the pies quickly. Finding a place to sit in the restaurant could be a challenge. However, you can always take your pizza and enjoy in the piazza and honestly, what is more Italian than that?
The best pizza ever I have tasted in my lifeIf you visit Florence, never forget to visit #gustopizza
The pizza tastes great, we tried Gustapizza. It was prepared within a few minutes. However, the place is fairly small, has limited number of tables which you need to share with other people. No bathrooms, although they sell alcoholic drinks. It feels like a grab-and-go place, not a really place to have a lengthy conversations with people that you are enjoying the pizza with.
Great fire wood pizza and red wine! We were greated by lovely staff. Keep up the good spirit!
Really delicious pizza! The tables and chairs are high and they were really nice and let me use a second chair for my two year old to eat on.
definetly top 3 in Florence and by far one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten.Furthermore it’s really cheap (below 10€) and is served within 5 minutes (if there’s no line)Well deserved 5/5 stars
Friendly staff and nice outdoor seating area, selective pizzas on the main menu around 7 or so to choose from with a few specials on the wall outside. Not long to wait if you wanted an out door seat which I did. Reasonable priced pizza.Definitely worth a visit if your in Florence.
Undoubtedly the best pizza in Florence!
The crust was thin but still soft but not soggy. A really great spot. Even if it seems really busy, the niceness of the staff and the ordering process worked wonders. Their red wine was delicious also!!Highly suggest Gustapizza. Had a couple locals tell us to eat there and it was Inexpensive and delicious!!
Not sure what the hype is. Average pizza - whoever thinks this was the best pizza they've ever had clearly hasn't had enough quality Italian pizza. Prices are low but it's cash only.
PERFECT! If you wanna taste the best pizza in your life – this place is definitely for you. Every pizza is completely different from one another so if you are visiting this place with dudes you have a chance to try several various flavors. And note that you can add some pepper or olive oil to your pizza to make it even better!Strongly recommend to visit Gustapizza, you will be surprised with their tastes :) P.S.: Prices are low (€6-9) comparing with other pizzerias in Florence
Authentic Pizza from Naples made in wood burning oven. If you don't like Neapolitan pizza look elsewhere
We had a great experience last week, delicious food, best pizza you can get in Florence!!! service was excellent, our waitress was from Argentina and she even played the song my girlfriend asked for. Coming back if in Florence again! totally recomended.
Good spot for a quick meal. They fill up fast so come early or be prepared to wait. My pizza in particular was very salty. In addition to the toppings, it seemed like the crust is salted as well. I had a slice of my friends margherita pizza which was much better as only the crust was salty. I did not feel like this pizza is as good as all the reviews say. It seemed average.
I ate at this place 5 of the 6 nights I was in Florence! It would have been all 6 but I didn't know about it the first night. This is the best pizza I have ever had. I cannot even look at pizza the same way now.
Awful place. Very overrated. Cash only. No hot drinks. Self-service. Pizza nothing special. Waiters dont care.
Favorite pizza in our favorite city. On a night where we wanted to have a low-key night in this was the perfect place. Good mix of options and they get your pizza in your hands very quickly without sacrificing good flavor!
I'd usually suggest not to eat where all the other tourists eat, but this is my one and only exception. The pizza is fantastic - it's fresh, it's traditional, and it doesn't break the bank. The service is very speedy, too - you'll rarely wait longer than 10 minutes for food. And to boot, my favourite thing on the menu is vegan - you have to try the marinara, it'll make you think twice about cheese on pizza.
VEEEEEEEEERY GOOD pizza. A kind of pizza that you will remember where you ate it and talk about it. Seriously. Definitely a must-try in Florence. Plus, staff is so friendly.
